How are ya now?

"You can't fight in here, this is the war room!" Whether it's an irreverent bit from a favourite film or TV show, or simply finding the inherent contradictions in life, I've always found satire to be the most entertaining form of comedy. The self seriousness with which many greet the world is ideal fodder for laughter. It's the clever, often thought provoking nature of these pieces that drew me towards them and ultimately the understanding that we should enjoy what time we have here.

Aside from this blog where I'll be writing a variety of satirical posts, you can find my short film The Gift online. It was produced locally in Ottawa by Moonrise Films and  follows a young man's journey with depression. It was screened at several festivals and continues to generate conversation around the importance of mental health.
